OPIF Tax Credits Still Available – Oregon Film Announces Second Auction Date

The Governor’s Office of Film and Television has announced that a second round of state tax credits will be auctioned to fund the Oregon Production
Investment Fund
(the state’s film incentive program.)  The auction will begin at 9:00 am on September 17 and run through 5:00 on September 19.

As we’ve previously reported, Oregon’s film incentive programs are not funded from the state’s general fund, but through the sale of tax credits. This is the first year that tax credits fueling Oregon’s film incentive program will be auctioned to the public instead of being sold on a “first-come-first-served” basis.

For more information on the auction rules and how you can take part, please visit the GOFTV’s blog at OregonConfluence.com.
