ABC’s new series Final Witness, which tells “true crime” stories from the victim’s point of view, turns its focus on Oregon this evening.  The series third episode, “Fatal Devotion,” focuses on convicted murderer and Oregon coast resident Christian Longo.

We don’t have any information as to how many Oregonians were hired to shoot the episode in Waldport, Newport and other locations on the coast last summer – but we do know of at least one Oregon film and TV worker who worked on the episode.  Portland-based actor Lanie Hoyo appeared on KATU’s AM Northwest this morning to discuss the episode, and her work in portraying murder victim Maryanne Longo.

Final Witness airs tonight at 10:00 PM (9:00 Central.)
