Electric Entertainment, the producers of the hit shot-in-Portland TNT series Leverage, announced yesterday that the show’s fourth season will be available for sale on DVD July 17.
The four-disk set is expected to cost $39.98 (no news as yet on whether it will be available in Blu-Ray format, and what the price difference may be.) With a total run-time of 792 minutes, the DVD set will also contain audio commentaries for all the seson’s episodes, a behind-the-scenes featurette for “The Long Job Down,” a peek inside the Leverage Writers’ Room, deleted scenes, a parody of the show’s parody of NBC’s The Office, and a Gag Reel.
Season 4 is the third season of the popular TNT show to be shot in Portland. While we don’t have any final information about the economics of the fourth season, we know Leverage has had a big impact on Portland’s economy. As we’ve previously reported, the show’s third season hired 471 Oregonian residents, collectively working 204,938 hours. $350,000 was spent hiring locals as extras, and 417 Local Vendors were paid by the production.
