Work Session For Oregon Film Incentive Increase Set For Wednesday

We’ve learned that the House Transportation and Economic Development committee has scheduled a “work session” for HB 2167 – the bill that seeks to increase Oregon’s film incentive programs – for this coming Wednsday, March 30 at 1:00 PM.

We’d like to ask you to contact your representatives, especially if they sit on the committee:

Cliff Bentz, Co-Chair
Tobias Read, Co-Chair
E. Terry Beyer, Co-Vice Chair
Patrick Sheehan, Co-Vice Chair
Shawn Lindsay
Nancy Nathanson
Jefferson Smith
Jim Weidner

(If your representative isn’t one of those listed above, don’t let that stop you – call your representative and ask him or her to speak to someone on the committee!)

Let your representatives know how much film and television production in Oregon means to you, your family, and the economy in your area – and ask him or her to supporting moving HB2167 out of committee and on to the next step in the process!
